Digital scrapbook pages using MDS2

I would like to share the digital pages I have been working on...

We love lego at our house!

In My Digital Studio. I can choose to use the exact same color that is in one of my photos. I used the lego blocks in the actual photo to color the blocks I created for the page layout. I LOVE this color matching feature.

Another ski day..

Here is a scrapbooking tip: When you don't have enough photos for a two page spread just use the same colors and similar layout for the second page. I have connected a ski day with Valentine's Day pictures.

Vintage Style Christmas Trees and Glassy Glitter

These darling Christmas trees were fun to put together!  Each one took on a little different character.

Cutting circles with the Big shot ~ Crinkle and sponge circles with Crumb Cake ink then trimming the edges with vintage glassy glitter! Stinkin' Cute!

Thanksgiving place card treats

Ok! Here is a darling treat to place on your Thanksgiving table!

Stamp your leaves with the Wonderfall stamp set. I used More mustard, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, and I think Bravo Burgundy on Crumb Cake Card stock

Cut images out with Autumn Accents digz die using your BigShot

Crinkle paper to add some texture. Next add shine with Gold Glow Smooch spritz

Layer leaves on top of each other to create dimension. Adhere leaves with Stampin Dimensional

Adhere leaves to the top of a 1x8" cello bag 

Fill your cello bags with small treats like, M&M's, gumballs, mints licorice etc.

Tie with ribbon or Tulle

Add a name on the leaves to make it a place card on individual plates or leave blank to use as a center piece.

This shortbread recipe is delicious!! I am not a fan of cherries but this was tasty. Not too cherry flavored! The dough makes such a cute cookie I had to make them. I saw this as a Christmas cookie and wanted to press it with a heart for our sweet treat class. They turned out darling! Here is a link to the recipe

A new friend of mine just made a book like this for her husband suing a deck of 52 playing cards. It was a clever idea to come up with 52 reasons why I love you... It inspired me to make a simpler book. For our class we used  the tags die and the big shot to cut out our book... We made our book to say "A dozen reasons why I love you."  Order your Bigshot and dies here! A Bigshot would make a great Valentine gift!!
