Short family reunion book

My Grandma & Grandpa Short would be 100 years old this year (2012) if they were still alive today. I have put together a digital book to celebrate their life. My Aunt Val let me have this project for our family reunion and it was exciting to learn a bit more about my grandparents.

I am a simple scrapbooker! I like my pictures to be the focal point! I am not one to have so many embellishment's that you can's see the pictures.

Twins!

I just attended a baby shower for a friend of mine who is having twin boys! She has waited a long time to have these babies and we are so excited for them. I enjoy giving a 6x6 scrapbook to a new mommy because I know she is not going to make one on her own.... especially with double the fun. So, I put together two albums that Jen can drop pictures in right away. Pictures of those very first few days of life.

 

I used My Digital Studio to create most of these pages and the gift tag. I added punches, ribbon, eyelets, cardstock and such to add texture and layers to the pages. These books worked up so fast and made a wonderful gift. The mommy to be was very excited about the gift.

 Make distressed paper flowers with your Circle Punches.

Page 4&5 Using Vellum Paper and the Scallop Square die you will add a soft touch to layer your darling photos.

Page 10 & 11 Are stamped in black, basic gray and pretty in pink ink! embellished with a Pink Epoxy brad.

Daddy's girl was stamped with White Stazon Ink on a Window sheet. (Sorry for the yellowish photo) Add some Black and White gingham ribbon!

Page 13 &14. Top note die, full heart punch, 3 heart punch, Brushed Silver Specialty paper and White organza ribbon.
