This shortbread recipe is delicious!! I am not a fan of cherries but this was tasty. Not too cherry flavored! The dough makes such a cute cookie I had to make them. I saw this as a Christmas cookie and wanted to press it with a heart for our sweet treat class. They turned out darling! Here is a link to the recipe

We also made a chalk board heart shaped serving tray! Order chalkboard vinyl here! The heart tray was from a local store.

I love pinwheels!! Ever since I was a little girl pinwheels captivate me. We placed a pinwheel on top of a 1x8 cellophane bag with a piece of licorice inside. Order your treat bags here! The HOT item many people ordered were the polk a dot brads!! Order your brads today!

Gotta love the new framelit die! We cut this darling label with the Bigshot and wrapped it around some jumbo smarties. This treat is for those smarties that send us soring!! A new friend of mine just made a book like this for her husband suing a deck of 52 playing cards. It was a clever idea to come up with 52 reasons why I love you... It inspired me to make a simpler book. For our class we used  the tags die and the big shot to cut out our book... We made our book to say "A dozen reasons why I love you."  Order your Bigshot and dies here! A Bigshot would make a great Valentine gift!!

Last of all, we again used the Bigshot to cut out a box using a window sheet. we filled it with candy hearts and labeled it with an XOllent Valentine label! 6x6 mini scrapbook album

My nephew and his wife are having their first baby. Here is a peek at her shower gift. A 6x6" scrapbook that will be ready to place those very first pictures of their little girl. Christmas Can Cure (Home decor ideas)

Here are some fun last minute home decor items you cam make for Christmas!

I was given the assignment to come up with a few decor items for two families coming to Park City to celebrate Christmas. These families are service families who have been wounded in the war and are coming here to spend time with their families and have a little R&R to help recovery. They needed Christmas decorations to help decorate their temporary condo's during their stay here in Park City.

One thing I needed to incorporate was... children. Children were making these items so they needed to be easy for the kids to make them, and nice enough that the families would enjoy them.

Here is what I came up with, and the Children did a beautiful job! This is their work!

 

Votive candle holders, table runners, candy cane vase and the children colored paper ornaments. (sorry I forgot the take a picture of them)

Thanksgiving basket & name place card

this is actually two of the Box #2 bigz xl die. stuck back to back. Use the large oval punch to make your handle. Add a name on the oval piece that you cut out as your place card.

Mini CD Scrapbook with my Digital Sudio

My Digital Studio created these darling "American Girl" scrapbook pages and covers.

Use old CD's to make the front and back cover of this darling mini scrapbook.

I used the circle scissors to to cut out the circles for the front and back covers.

The big shot was used to cut out all of the inside pages, Scallop Circle die and the clear circle die.

Ribbon is always a wonderful choice when you need to add texture
